+ HOW OLD DOES MY TEEN NEED TO BE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?
This program is for ages 10-15 years old.
+ MY TEEN IS 16 YEARS OLD AND REALLY WANTS TO PARTICIPATE. CAN SHE JOIN?
Yes! Absolutely. Sign her up.
+ WHAT DOES MY TEEN NEED FOR THIS PROGRAM?
Clothing your teen feels comfortable moving in. Online: A computer, tablet or phone to participate. A notebook and a pen. Water to stay hydrated and a mat or carpeted area. Lastly, your teen will use props you can find around the house each week.
+ MY TEEN HAS NEVER DONE PILATES, BARRE OR YOGA BEFORE IS THAT OK?
Of course! This program is open level and foundational. I love meeting new faces.
+ MY TEEN HAS A HISTORY OF INJURY, MEDICAL CONDITION OR JUST RE-INTRODUCING MOVEMENT INTO HER LIFE, CAN SHE PARTICIPATE?
Yes, Pilates and Yoga are both incredibly beneficial tools for healing injuries. You and I will speak before the start of the program so I am fully aware of your teens situation. I encourage your teen to speak to me before and during the class as well so the correct modifications can be made. For more comprehensive care, I recommend private sessions. You can set up a connection call here to discuss the injury or medical condition further to ensure proper safety and setup for sessions and classes.
+ WHAT IF MY TEEN IS UNABLE TO MAKE ONE OF THE DATES?
Your teen will be missed during that class but unfortunately the program cannot be prorated and there are no additional dates provided.
+ WHAT HAPPENS IF LIA IS UNABLE TO CONDUCT THE CLASS DUE TO ILLNESS?
Lia will add a makeup class.
